Does anyone else remember a time before everything was automated & electronic?
Seriously, people... life in the "Matrix" is alright, but it would be nice to see something "real" for a change. I think that video did more then just kill the Radio Star... it has taken something from all of us. I would love to go back to a day & age before CGI when the stunts were real, people used props & sets instead of green screens, & going to the movies or watching TV were not the only choices as to what to do. When I have kids & they want video games, they are going to at least have to beat super Mario Bros & get a decent score in Pac-Man before we even talk about getting out the N64.
Seriously though. the world has gone too far... I would gladly do without many things I enjoy in order to rid the world of some of the ones I don't. It seems like summer entertainment used to include roller-rinks, bowling allies, drive-in theaters, & putt-putt... have we really reduced it to the small screen megaplex & a walk through the mall?
